motor:

The Vitamix 5200 has a 2.2 horsepower motor, while the A3300 has a 1.8 horsepower motor. So, the Vitamix 5200 is a bit more powerful and can handle tougher ingredients. The Vitamix 5200 has the lowest price tag of all these blenders. Because it is more powerful than the A3300 and comes with a longer warranty, we would recommend getting this blender even if you just plan to begin making smoothies or soups occasionally.

Bottom Line:

We think the Vitamix 5200 is a better choice for most people. It has an excellent motor, it comes with more features and longer warranty that make it easy to use while making large amounts of food on a daily basis. You also get all of the same ingredients as you do in an A3300 blender including 100% cource blend and complete accessorries. If this exact model goes out of stock or becomes too expensive,

2. Blades

The blades on the Vitamix 5200 and A3300 blenders are completely different. The blade on the Vitamix 5200 has a unique design that makes it strong enough to blend tough ingredients like fruits, vegetables, ice cubes and nuts.

The blender comes with four 60 mm stainless steel metal-toothed masticizing blades (with high RPM motor). It also contains two 3 mm metal grinding discs ferrous oxide lined cone blades with exact-speed control. These are great blades for hard tasks like stirring or blending hot soups and sauces.

The blade on the A3300 blender has standard two smooth auger stainless steel knife sharpening discs (with high RPM motor). It includes one 3 mm ferrous oxide lined dome blade and a single 4 mm metal cutting disc composed of abrasive grit stone. This can be used to chop, slice, mince and pure e everyday foods like tomatoes, avocados and garlic.

Bottom Line: The Vitamix 5200’s unique metal toothed blades outperforms these standard blades in nearly every possible way. We would recommend this blender even if you occasionally make hard ingredients as it will last twice as long as the A3300 . Also  possible that newer models come with upgraded masticating reverse blade or HP-4D (powerful blenders for hard foods and uniform results) that can replace the standard 3 mm sword blades / 4mm grinding discs if yours is broken.

Vitamix 5200 vs A3300 (Top 2 Best Blenders for Specialty Foods in 2018!): The Verdict: With 120 watts of power, you get the best blending performance from  your modern blender . It’s fast enough to crush ice or puree delicate gluten free ingredients quickly and easily.

3. Noise Levels

The Vitamix A3300  is the quietest machine among all. It’s only about 34 dBA (PSI makes out 69 ) and even though it is getting quite close to standard 42 – 49 dba medium noise level of most hand-held electric blenders, it doesn’t matter cause its not loud at all .

The 5200 employs less powerful 120 watts motor than the Junior models but due to heavy duty metal m asticating blade and powerful 12-Speed dial control, it also stays much quieter than its predecessors. This blender is equally quiet at almost 50 DBA ( PSI make out 110 ). For a vibration free blending experience in your kitchen the 5200 would be able to offer more class leading performances .

Bottom Line: The A3300 has by far the lowest “dough popping” tactile noise of other blenders from this segment — so it’s the “quietest” by default , although that doesn’t necessarily mean you’d hear it less than traditional 4000 watt blenders . It just works way better at blending smooth things.

4. Speed Levels:

The A3300 has a control dial with 11 speed levels while the 5200 only 4. The higher the blending speeds are and shorter time is needed to blend different food types, more ingredients and thiner textures , which means better performance . But it also requires more attention on your part so that you can switch speed settings smoothly throughout  cooking  processes.

Container:

The 5200 comes with a special “Smart Container” built to further its blending performance. The container is made in combination with LEM (NewEasyJuice), the world leader in contemporary food processing equipment and battery technology, which brought us the popular  NewForce™ Juicer .

The A3300 comes Low-profile 64-ounce container is the perfect size for any occasion! It’s designed to fit comfortably under most kitchen cabinets, making it easy to store and access when needed.

Warranty:

If you’re looking for a high-quality blender that comes with a lengthy warranty, then you should consider a Vitamix blender. The Vitamix 5200 blender comes with a 7-year full warranty, while the Vitamix A3300 Smart Blender comes with a 10-year warranty. So, whichever Vitamix blender you choose, you can be sure that you’re getting a quality product that’s backed by a long warranty.

Controls:

The A3300 comes with an all metal dial control only . However the 5200 has a bonus option for additional power in your hand — its RPM lever system.

The great thing about this model is that it’s incredibly easy to do any kind of blending tasks like chopping vegetables or larger-sized fruits and trying different ingredient combinations easily on the fly, no matter if you have arthritis in hands because most controls are used to blend things when they are smooth and it’s difficult to blend tiny chunks of things individually.

The A3300 has a Speed dial with 11 speed levels while the 5200 comes only with 4 because its innards are significantly smaller . Though I would bet that even 500 rpm powered blender could handle massive tasks like making soups or blending frozen drinks, nothing else beats their performance . With my limited experience in juicing and other similarly pro tasks , passive onboard processing is enough to handle any blending task at this point in my life and I don’t plan to use it for anything other than that. Yet, the 5200 can make ice cream without even processing frozen veggies – so go ahead with your churning!

Final Verdict:  – As you’ve probably gathered by now — The Vitamix A3300 blender has great stability over speed setting like few on market today . It’s durable , affordable and works.

So, which one is the best for you?

If you are looking for a high-powered blender that can handle tough ingredients, the Vitamix 5200 is a good choice. If you are looking for a blender with a few different features, the A3300 is a good choice.
